Subject: OER baseline survey -- Please help us design more affordable education opportunities for all learners worldwide
OERu survey -- Survey responses due by the close of your business on 28 May 2012.
We need your help in planning more affordable education futures for all learners worldwide.
The OER university context evaluation team coordinated by the University of Southern Queensland and the TOUCANs research project convened by the University of Leicester have joined forces to design a baseline survey.
Angela Murphy (University of Southern Queensland) and Gabi Witthaus (University of Leicester) have done a sterling job incorporating feedback from the open wiki consultation and produced the survey under a very tight deadline.
The survey aims to enable institutions that are not members of the OERu to determine their compatibility with the OERu or similar concepts.
Your input is essential for establishing an international benchmark which can assist with the implementation of the OER university and/or similar international collaborations. This is an open research project and all information collected will be published as open data. Therefore, researchers will have access to this data for further research and analysis.
With thanks to USQ, all participants who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win one of ten $200 (USD) Amazon Gift Vouchers.
